Bay Villas Resort

Bay Villas Resort in Port Douglas is a so-called apartment hotel.  

It has 59 apartments of various sizes, all with kitchen facilities. The bigger the room, the bigger the kitchen – so you can make food, even in the smallest rooms. All apartments have their own terrace or balcony overlooking either the pool or the garden.  

In addition to the fully-equipped kitchen with its microwave, dishwasher and fridge, the apartments offer air conditioning, a flatscreen TV, washing machine, iron and ironing board and free Wi-Fi. All are spacious with plenty of room to both cook and eat. But you’re in Australia, so it goes without saying that the hotel also offers two outdoor grill areas. No holiday is complete without a “barbie”.  

It should be mentioned that the apartments are only cleaned every five days. So you don’t have to put everything away and leave the apartment every day – you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. 

You’re just a 10-minute walk from Four Mile Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the whole of Queensland, and five minutes or so from the local tourist office in the town centre.
