Hotel Plaza Colonial

Plaza Colonial enjoys the perfect location in Campeche, inside the city walls, and just two blocks from the central square “Plaza de la Independencia”.

Hotel Adhara Cancún is a pleasant, comfortable hotel situated in the centre of Cancún, a mere 25-minute drive from the airport.

You stay in charming cabins built in natural materials, including with a roof made of dried palm leaves. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated with a harmonious mix of light colours, colourful Mexican rugs and pillows as well as beautiful dark wooden floors and furniture.
The total of 84 rooms are all furnished with a private bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, Wi-Fi, TV, fridge and either a small terrace or balcony.
Please note that the Wi-Fi connection on Holbox can be a bit slow.

The rooms are spread out in the lush garden, and the many trees provide both lovely shade from the sun and contribute to an extra nature experience because beautiful exotic birds come to visit. You may also be lucky enough sometimes to spot a lazy lizard or iguana crawling down from a tree.

The restaurant offers a wide range of culinary options, ranging from a large breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice to lunch and dinner buffets, which include both local Mexican and international dishes. Your stay includes breakfast, but it is possible to purchase an all-inclusive package, so that all meals, snacks and local beverages are included throughout your stay.

Both the hotel’s reception and restaurant are built under a tall, thatched palapa, which is a traditional Mexican building style where natural materials such as wood, bamboo and dried palm leaves are used. In addition to being very beautiful, the open sides and airy roof provide good ventilation, making them ideal in hot and humid climates.

The hotel offers plenty of areas for relaxing and sunbathing. You can, for example, stretch out by the pool in the garden in front of the hotel, where you will also find a small beach bar serving cool drinks. If you instead cross the small sandy road that runs along the coast, you will find yourself on the most beautiful sandy beach, where there are also sun loungers for free use. Look forward to taking a dip in the azure sea.
You can also purchase as add-ons a number of treatments and massages in the hotel’s small wellness area.

The hotel is located in the quiet and undisturbed part of Holbox, but you are still only a 15-minute walk from the town. You can also rent bicycles at the hotel if you want to experience more of the flat island on your own.

Hotel del Gobernador

The 4-star Hotel del Gobernador is set in the historical centre of Mérida, not far from the beautiful cathedral and the charming Santa Lucía park. In the nearby streets and alleys, you can admire the authentic Mexican architecture of the charming, colourful houses.

Best Western Hotel Majestic

Hotel Majestic enjoys a wonderful location on Zócalo, the city’s central square, in the heart of the historic centre. The large square is lined with beautiful and famous colonial buildings such as the National Palace, Templo Mayor and Mexico’s cathedral.

The hotel is also a historic colonial building with many beautiful details, such as arched ceilings and colourful tiled floors, and a cosy atrium in the middle of the building.

There are 84 rooms spread over 7 floors. It is an old hotel, and the rooms are simply appointed, but all have an en suite bathroom, a TV and a telephone. You can store your valuables in a safe in reception. Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas of the hotel.

The hotel’s restaurant is to be found on the top floor, where you can enjoy your breakfast (included). You have the option to eat inside or out on the roof terrace, which affords a wonderful view of the city and the bustling square.

This hotel has been chosen for its colonial charm and not least its unique location in the heart of Mexico City. If you’d like a room offering greater comfort, we recommend that you upgrade to Hotel Histórico Central.

Hotel Regente City

In the heart of Mexico City lies Hotel Regente City, a modernly appointed hotel with 139 rooms.

Hotel Oaxaca Real

Built in colonial style, this charming hotel is located in the heart of Oaxaca, just a few minutes from the Santo Domingo square.

The 76 spacious rooms were renovated in summer 2013 and feature Wi-Fi, a safe, TV, telephone and hair-dryer. Other conveniences such as an iron/ironing board are available on request.

Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant serving traditional dishes, a roof terrace and a swimming pool.

Night bus in Mexico

This is a modern coach, equipped with a toilet, air conditioning and three TVs. The reclining seats are comfortable, and there is plenty of leg room. All seats also have a reading light.

It is a good idea to bring ear plugs, as well as a warm pull-over, as you may experience a draft from the air conditioning.

Hotel Maya Tulipanes

This delightful hotel is located on the outskirts of Palenque, and makes the perfect base for exploring the impressive Mayan ruins nearby.

Hotel Diego Mazariegos

You will find the charming Hotel Diego de Mazariegos right in the heart of San Cristóbal. The hotel is located just a few hundred metres from the city’s central square, Plaza de la Paz, where you will also find the beautiful and iconic church, Catedral de San Cristóbal Mártir.

The hotel is divided into two buildings: an original building from the 18th Century and a newer building, located right next door. Villa Pescadores

Look forward to a lovely conclusion to your tour in pleasant Tulum. Everything takes place at a calm pace here and both locals and tourists use bicycles to get around. Hotels in Tulum are relatively small, and the rooms are in high demand, so you’ll have to book in good time to be sure of getting one. Tulum is a more expensive holiday destination than Playa del Carmen, but many people still choose it for its unique mood and atmosphere.

At the quiet end of Tulum, you’ll find Villa Pescadores, which offers relaxation and idyll in tropical surroundings. Here, you’ll be staying inside Tulum National Park, close to the Tulum ruins and right down to the water.

Villa Pescadores consists of just 22 rooms, all of which are rustically furnished in traditional Mexican style. The rooms offer air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safe, Wi-Fi and a fridge. They all have their own terrace and a hammock.

Start the day by walking down to the beach to watch the spectacular sunrise over the azure Caribbean Sea, before continuing with a session of communal yoga organised by the hotel. When the heat gets too much, you can swim in the sea or take a refreshing dip in the small pool, which is framed by swaying palm trees and located next to the white sand beach.

The hotel has a beach bar, where you can enjoy cold drinks or snacks, and its own open-air Mexican restaurant, where you sit with your feet in the sand and a view of the sea. Your breakfast (included) is served here, and later in the day, the menu switches over to lunch dishes. In high season, the restaurant is also open for dinner. But otherwise, you also have the opportunity as a guest to enjoy your evening meal at one of the nearby restaurants, which have seafood, Mexican and international dishes on the menu. You can also head into the town of Tulum if you want a wider selection of restaurants and bars.

If you have had enough of resting and you are the more adventurous type, there are plenty of different water sports activities nearby – from snorkelling to fishing trips. You also have the option to rent bikes and visit the Tulum Mayan ruins, which are a few kilometres to the north, or cycle south along the coast and experience the southern part of Tulum, visit a cenote or perhaps go souvenir shopping in Tulum itself. There are countless possibilities!

Piedra Escondida

Hotel Piedra Escondida is a small oasis in Tulum, where charm meets nature. Located right on a private beach, shared with only a few other hotels, it is the hotel for those who prefer peace and relaxation.

This intimate retreat offers elegantly detailed rooms with air conditioning, ceiling fan, Wi-Fi and a safe. The hotel has just 9 rooms, all of which have their own terrace. Fall asleep to the sound of the roaring waves, and when you awake, lay out in the hammock while enjoying the sight of the sun quietly appearing on the horizon, painting bright, abstract colours across the sky.

The hotel does not have a pool, but the seductive Caribbean Sea is just metres from your room when you need a refreshing dip. Hammocks, parasols, and sun loungers on the beach can be used by the hotel’s guests, free of charge. Cold drinks and exotic cocktails can be ordered at the small beach bar.

When hunger strikes, enjoy a culinary experience at the hotel’s restaurant, Molcajete, which specialises in Mexican fusion dishes. Molcajete has both an indoor and outdoor dining area offering sea views, and a terrace right down to the beach.

This is also where your à la carte breakfast (included) is served.

A little further down the road are several small shops, restaurants, and cafés. Bicycle rental is also available if you feel like exploring Tulum at a leisurely pace on two wheels.
