Endoro Lodge

Situated in the hilly landscape near Karatu is the charming Endoro Lodge.

The 30 or so rooms and cabins are all cosily appointed in natural hues with an African touch.

The standard rooms are spacious and pleasant, with everything you need for an overnight stay or two, while all chalets have their own fireplace, own veranda, outdoor shower and bathtub – that little bit extra if you fancy spoiling yourself.

However, the major draw of the lodge is, if you ask us, the elegant lounge with its floor-to-ceiling windows, through which you can enjoy the view of the surrounding hills.

The pool is guaranteed to tempt you to enjoy a dip and a good book in the shade of a parasol, and dotted around the garden and along the paths, there are benches, providing a place for a little rest on the sometimes steep paths.
