Serengeti Sametu Camp

Situated in the heart of the Serengeti is the wonderful Serengeti Sametu Camp. With just 16 tents, this is a small and therefore highly intimate camp, where guests are treated like royalty.

The tents are more like individual “cabins”, with solid floors, large floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding doors out onto the large private balcony/terrace and, of course, lovely bathrooms with tiled floors and hot water in the shower around the clock. But they ARE most definitely tents. The walls are canvas, allowing you to hear the sounds of the bush from your soft bed throughout the night. There are lions roaring, impala braying to each other and buffaloes trampling.

Meals are enjoyed in the communal building, which is also where you will find the bar and the pool. The entire area offers a phenomenal view of the Serengeti.

Please note that Sametu has just 16 tents, so we recommend you book well in advance if you wish to upgrade to this accommodation.
