Chaarya Resort & Spa has the feel of a small village, situated in a peaceful, scenic area in the heart of Tissamaharama, a 30-minute drive from Yala National Park. It is surrounded by lush, green gardens with footpaths, majestic king palms and ponds with beautiful water lilies.

The hotel has 55 rooms of at least 52 m², all of which have their own veranda overlooking the lovely landscaped gardens, where you may see various migratory birds and endemic bird species. The pleasantly appointed rooms feature dark wood furniture, textiles in beautiful colours and attractive paper lanterns. They are all offer air conditioning, a ceiling fan, Wi-Fi, a TV, a telephone, a safe, a seating area and desk. There is also an electric kettle, so you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee to enjoy on your veranda. The bathroom has a rain shower, a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries.

Chaaya’s in-house restaurant serves delicious, traditional Sri Lankan, oriental and western dishes made from fresh vegetables, fruit, fish and meat from the local villages.
