Join a guided cycling tour to Virgin Beach.
You’ll set off on a scenic ride along soft, rolling hills, with most of the route downhill, interrupted only by a few short uphill sections. Along the way, colourful flowers, moss-clad temples, and little shrines emerge throughout the landscape. You’ll visit a very special apiary run by a hearing-impaired couple who, with great passion, have created their own sustainable beekeeping venture. Here you’ll hear their story and taste delicious honey produced with respect for both nature and tradition.
The tour will continue down through green rice fields, where the landscape opens up and the pace naturally slows. At the end, Virgin Beach awaits with its clear blue water and dark volcanic rocks that frame the shore beautifully. The beach is wide and bright with fine sand, and there’s time for both sunbathing and a refreshing swim before you’re served an authentic lunch of freshly caught fish with local accompaniments.
Afterwards, you’ll be driven back to Kaura, where a delicious lunch awaits.
