Offerings, purification ceremony and massage

On this excursion, you’ll get up close to Balinese culture through a series of sensory and immersive experiences.

The experience begins with a warm welcome from local women from the village of Manggis, who introduce you to the craft of making traditional Balinese offerings. Along the way, they will explain the symbolism behind each element and show how these offerings are a natural part of everyday life and religious rituals in Bali. It’s an intimate encounter with local traditions and the community they spring from.

Next, you will make your way to the Jagasatru Waterfall. You’ll be driven to a nearby car park, from where it’s a short walk of around 300 metres down to the waterfall. In the tranquil, green surroundings, you’ll take part in a traditional purification ceremony, where the movement of the water and the sounds of nature create space for calmness and reflection. The ceremony offers an insight into Balinese spiritual practices and their deep connection with nature.

After the ceremony, you’ll head back to the car, which will take you back to Kaura.

The experience will then continue with around an hour’s massage, during which experienced therapists work to release tension and help you completely unwind. The treatment is tailored to you and leaves you with a soothing sense of well-being and renewed energy.

Finally, a delicious lunch awaits in Kaura’s restaurant, where you can enjoy your meal in peaceful surroundings and let the day’s impressions sink in.
