Hotel de la Opera

In Bogotá’s old district, La Candelaria, you will find numerous beautiful colonial buildings. Many of them have been renovated and converted into hotels, and Casa de la Opera is one of them. The hotel is located just behind Plaza Bolívar in the heart of the old district, within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions.

The hotel has a total of 42 beautiful rooms spread over two sections, all with a TV, safe, minibar and free Wi-Fi.

It has two restaurants, one overlooking the city. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here. There is also 24-hour room service. At the hotel, there is also a small bar, gym and a day spa area with a small pool.

In the building right opposite the hotel, there is a small window with a story to tell. Simón Bolívar is said to have saved his life by escaping through this very window.
