Dolphin tour (morning)

Go on an exciting boat trip off Playa Sámara beach and experience playful dolphins and perhaps other exciting animals like turtles, rays, and even whales in the season.

You sail out of Sámara and feel the lovely cooling sea breeze as you look back in towards the coast, hoping to spot the playful creatures. Several different species of dolphins swim off Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, so you may be lucky enough to see Atlantic spotted dolphins, spinner dolphins and common bottlenose dolphins leaping out of the water. If you travel in the season from December-March + August-October, you may be lucky enough to experience the magnificent humpback whales.

After an exciting and adventurous day at sea, the journey returns to the coast.

Remember to bring: We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and sunglasses or a hat with sunshade, bring sunscreen and a camera, and perhaps a towel and swimwear.
