Kibo Safari Camp

Kibo, a four-star camp, oozes cosiness and a genuine safari vibe.

Located just outside Amboseli National Park, the camp offers great views of Kilimanjaro.

There are 73 charmingly appointed tents of varying sizes. The bathroom in the tents has partial brick walls, and there is solid flooring throughout. The sides and roof, however, are made of canvas, giving you the best of both worlds; a tent in the middle of the beautiful African nature!

The tents are decorated in light, airy colours with good use of natural materials, in keeping with the surroundings outside. Beautiful details adorn walls and floors and help create the cosy atmosphere.

The bathroom has a flushing toilet and hot and cold water.

All tents have their own veranda with chairs and tables – the perfect place to relax with a good book in the middle of the day.

If you’re more tempted by a dip in the pool, it is, of course, also possible, and massage is also offered at Kibo. We also recommend a trip to their well-stocked souvenir shop – we’re guessing you won’t leave empty-handed…

Meals are served in the partially open restaurant overlooking Kilimanjaro.
