Lalashe Mara

Lalashe Mara is an exclusive and atmospheric camp with just seven suites, where the accommodation feels more like small private houses than traditional safari tents. Here, modern comfort is seamlessly combined with materials and details that blend beautifully with the natural surroundings, creating an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

The suites are exceptionally spacious, featuring a separate living area, large sleeping quarters, and generously sized bathrooms. Expansive glass panels let in natural light and open up to the surrounding landscape, giving you a wonderful sense of being close to nature – without compromising on comfort. Each “house” also comes with its own private terrace and plunge pool, perfect for cooling off while enjoying uninterrupted views.

The camp’s shared areas include a stylish lounge, bar, and restaurant set in tasteful, inviting surroundings. Meals are served in peaceful settings with views out over the bush. There is also a communal pool, but it’s the private plunge pools connected to the suites that really define the experience. From the main terrace, where you’ll also find the campfire area, there’s a view of a nearby waterhole that the resident hippos have a particular fondness for.
