Zebra Plains Mara Camp
This 4-star camp boasts stunning views over the plains of the Masai Mara. You can watch the animals wander by as you enjoy your breakfast, and at night, from your tent, you can hear the impalas ‘barking’ and the lions rumbling nearby.
The camp is made up of tents.
There are 50 in total – all canvas – which can be arranged as single, double, triple, or even family tents if you’re travelling together as a family. Each has a solid floor, a private bathroom with hot and cold running water in the shower, mosquito nets around the beds, and large windows (made of mosquito netting, which can be covered by rolling down the canvas) allowing you to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding plains. Every tent has a small veranda outside with a table and chairs, the perfect spot to take in the scenery – or perhaps enjoy a good book.
In the communal areas, you’ll find a swimming pool, as well as dining and lounge tents, tastefully furnished with soft armchairs, blankets, and cushions in the beautiful colours of the Maasai. An outdoor fire pit provides a cosy setting to watch the sunset with a cool drink in hand.
Massage treatments are available, and of course, there’s Wi-Fi in the communal areas.
