The rustic Kyambura Gorge Lodge sits right at the border to the Queen Elizabeth National Park on one of the cliffs of the Kyambura Gorge, and its location imbues it with an enchanting view of the savannah and Kyambura Gorge, which is colloquially also known as the “Valley of the Apes”.
The lodge’s stylish “bandas” cottages, built from wood and brick, are reminiscent of traditional African village cottages and are each named after the chimpanzees of the forest. Each cottage features a mosquito net, private bathroom and balcony, from which there is a unique view of either the savannah or Kyambura Gorge.
After an exciting day of safari, you can relax in the shade on the lodge’s covered porch as you eat dinner, or you can take a dip in the nice little swimming pool as you enjoy the gorgeous view of the national park. You can also choose to treat yourself to a relaxing massage.
Free Wi-Fi is also available in all of the lodge’s communal areas.
