Paradise on the Beach Resort

Roughly 25 km north of Cairns is the small town of Palm Cove. As the town is somewhat smaller than Cairns, the atmosphere here is also more chilled, and the range of restaurants is smaller – but not bad! If you dream of a holiday in slightly quieter surroundings than Cairns, you can choose to upgrade to a hotel in Palm Cove instead. The vast majority of excursions can also be undertaken from Palm Cove.

This good tourist class hotel, Paradise on the Beach, is – as the name suggests – located in a green spot in the shade of palm trees, right opposite the beach. A so-called apartment hotel, it has 34 rooms, all with their own kitchen with fridge, microwave and hob. All rooms have their own balcony or terrace, smart TV and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel has a pleasant pool area as well as a day spa, and, as you would expect in Australia, there is of course also a shared barbecue area outside, so you can enjoy a real Australian “barbie”. In short: everything you need to have a great holiday!
