River Rafting on the Barron River

Feel a rush of adrenaline on this half-day rafting excursion on the Barron River.

Barron River is perfect for those who have never rafted before, as the rapids on the river are fairly stable and ensure a fun experience where everyone can join in.

The tour often takes place in the afternoon, as the current is calmest then, but it can also take place in the morning. Children are welcome, but only if they are aged 12+.

The price includes: Transport, guide and equipment.
Remember swimwear, sandals that can get wet, sunscreen, a set of dry clothes and a towel.

Please note: This tour will not be available again until June 2024 at the earliest due to damage to the local hydroelectric plant on the Barron River. If you wish to go river rafting during this period, we can help arrange it on the Tully River instead. Please ask your travel consultant.
