Soriyabori Resort

The small resort with just 26 rooms is situated in peaceful, green surroundings on the small, lush and car-free island of Koh Trong. The island is scenically situated in the middle of the Mekong River, just 10 minutes from the town of Kratie. The small, beautifully decorated wooden houses in traditional Cambodian style are scattered throughout a tropical garden.

Each little house has 1–2 separate and spacious rooms (min. 30 m²) with a private entrance. The rooms have a small balcony or terrace and have a desk, a ceiling fan, bathrobes, slippers, a mosquito net and a shower and toilet area. A hair dryer can be borrowed from the reception, and there is free Wi-Fi.

The cosy restaurant is located on a covered terrace overlooking the garden and pool.  Delicious Cambodian and international dishes are served in morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. A well-stocked wine list is also available.

The resort is located roughly 2.5 km from the river, where the boat from Kratie docks. Depending on the water level of the Mekong river, in the dry season you walk up to 900 m across the wide beach and up to the cycle path, from which a tuk tuk drives you back and forth to the hotel. In the rainy season, when the water level is high, the beach almost entirely disappears and you don’t have to walk across the wide beach as the boat can dock almost all the way up to the cycle path. Your luggage will be transported from the river all the way to the hotel.
