The cosy and contemporary Banff Inn is ideally situated on the town’s main street, Banff Avenue. From here, you’re only a 10-minute stroll from the town’s many shops and a wide array of restaurants. In other words, you’ll enjoy a peaceful location at the quieter end of Banff, just a short walk from the vibrant town centre.

If you want to explore the town’s popular attractions and beautiful natural sites nearby—such as Johnson Canyon, Lake Minnewanka, and the Banff Gondola—without a car, you can make use of the city’s ROAM bus service. With your stay at Banff Inn, you’ll receive a complimentary bus pass allowing you to travel between the hotel and downtown. From downtown, you can connect to other bus routes (additional fares apply).

Banff Inn was built in 1993 in an authentic chalet style and underwent renovations in 2012, giving the lodge a modern touch. The rustic elements—like stone, timber, and exposed beams—create a relaxing holiday atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to recharge after an active day, whether that means unwinding with a coffee in front of the lobby’s fireplace or enjoying a soak in the indoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room.

The rooms are decorated in a warm lodge style, featuring wooden furniture and earthy tones. Each room comes equipped with air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a TV, a mini fridge, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
