Tofino Resort + Marina

Tofino, British Columbia

On the west coast of Vancouver Island lies the authentic small town of Tofino, set against the roaring waves of the Pacific Ocean, dense rainforest, and sweeping low-lying mist.
Tofino Resort + Marina is perfect for those who are willing to journey a little further than Ucluelet to enjoy the ultimate authentic island experience on your Canadian adventure – and it’s a definite upgrade when it comes to location. Tofino is a meeting point between the wild Canadian wilderness and a well-established local community which cherishes its natural surroundings, tranquillity, local produce, and traditional crafts.

Overlooking the water, Tofino Resort + Marina is just a short stroll from the vibrant town centre, where you’ll find a wide variety of small cafés, restaurants, and shops. The hotel sits right by a marina, from which many of the local excursions set out. Here, you can book a range of tours to discover the area’s spectacular wildlife and nature – from bear, humpback whale, and orca watching to visits to natural hot springs or fishing trips led by a local guide. (If you’d like to secure your spot, we recommend booking your tours before you travel.)

You can also choose to add a truly unique experience by visiting the hotel’s secluded floating sauna, nestled as a hidden gem in the stunning landscape of Clayoquot Sound. You’ll be taken there by boat, and upon arrival, you can enjoy paddleboarding, relax in a hammock, and take a refreshing dip in the cold sea (this package is booked directly with the hotel)

The hotel offers a total of 63 rooms, all decorated in a modern style. These bright rooms are adorned with striking images that celebrate the area’s vibrant surfing culture. Each room features large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and the interiors are finished with natural materials in light, calming tones. Amenities include a TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a private bathroom.

The hotel is home to two restaurants, giving you the chance to sample local produce. The menus offer everything from freshly caught fish and seafood to classic pub favourites such as pizza and burgers.
If you’re keen to stay active on your holiday, you can take advantage of the hotel’s fitness centre, which rewards you with panoramic views of the water and mountains.

The hotel offers free parking.
