Excursion to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake
Discover two of the most iconic lakes in the Canadian Rocky Mountains on a scenic excursion to both Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.
Your first stop is Lake Louise, renowned as “The Jewel of the Canadian Rockies” for its emerald-green glacier-fed waters and dramatic mountain backdrop. Here, you’ll have time to stroll along the lakeshore and capture photos of the breathtaking scenery, while your guide shares fascinating insights into the area’s history and recounts a tragic climbing accident that helped shape Canadian mountain culture.
Your journey continues to Moraine Lake, the spectacular mountain lake set in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Take the chance to walk up to a lookout point for stunning views over the deep-blue lake and the surrounding mountain peaks.
During the excursion, you’ll travel along the idyllic Bow Valley Parkway, where, if you’re lucky, you might catch sight of some local wildlife along the way.
