Boat tour through Tamarindo’s mangrove forest

Join a relaxing and scenic boat tour through the mangroves of Tamarindo in Las Baulas National Park. On this roughly two-hour water safari, you’ll experience the fascinating ecosystem up close in the company of a local, English-speaking guide, who will share their knowledge of the area’s wildlife and plant life.

Glide gently through the narrow channels of the Tamarindo estuary on a covered boat as nature unfolds around you. Keep an eye out for monkeys in the treetops, iguanas on the branches, and crocodiles along the banks. The mangrove forest is also home to a wealth of birdlife, and you may be lucky enough to spot colourful birds and fish leaping from the water.
