Mercure Bali Sanur Resort

Sanur, Bali

Mercure Bali Sanur Resort is set right on one of Sanur’s finest beaches – a peaceful, wide stretch of sand with shallow waters and the welcome shade of palm trees. The resort is spread out over five hectares of lush tropical gardens filled with swaying palms and meandering pathways weaving between Balinese buildings, topped with traditional alang-alang roofs. You’ll enjoy a tranquil retreat here, while still being just a stroll from Sanur’s lively pedestrian street, lined with cosy cafés, shops, and restaurants.

You’ll be staying in one of the hotel’s standard deluxe rooms, housed in low-rise buildings scattered across the resort. Each room is 40 m² and features either a king-size bed or two single beds. The design is minimalist, with dark wooden furniture, tiled flooring, and muted tones, creating a calm atmosphere. All rooms offer air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, a minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a safety box. The bathroom includes a shower and hairdryer. From your spacious private balcony or terrace, you can take in views of the resort’s tropical gardens, full of palms and flowering shrubs. Some rooms interconnect, making them a great choice for families travelling together.

The resort boasts two spacious pool areas: the Sahadewa Pool, set within the gardens and featuring a separate children’s pool, making it a perfect choice for families, and the Nakula Pool, which sits right beside the beach with uninterrupted views of the sea. Next to the Nakula Pool, you’ll find the laid-back The Breeze Bar, where you can sip on tropical cocktails, enjoy fresh coconuts, drink cold beers, and eat light snacks beneath the shade of towering trees. By the Sahadewa Pool, the Sahadewa Bar serves snacks, refreshing drinks, and cocktails throughout the day.

If you’re looking to indulge yourself during your stay, you can book a Balinese treatment at the hotel’s Sanjivani Spa, which offers massages, facials, and wellness experiences in tranquil surroundings. You can also start your morning with a yoga session or challenge your travelling companion to a game on the hotel’s own tennis court. Volleyball, table tennis, and bicycle hires are also available if you fancy exploring the local area.

When hunger strikes, the resort offers several appealing options. The main restaurant, Pandawa Restaurant, serves a varied breakfast buffet featuring both international dishes, freshly baked treats, and an omelette station. At lunch and dinner, the menu ranges from fresh salads to succulent sirloin steaks and freshly caught seafood.

Several excellent restaurants are within walking distance, and the seafront promenade is perfect for evening strolls in the gentle glow of lanterns and the setting sun.
