Imagine yourself sitting on your own spacious wooden terrace outside your tent in the Masai Mara. You can hear the hippos squabbling down in the Mara River.

All day you’ve been out on a game drive in the Masai Mara, but now you’re simply relaxing, soaking up the sounds of the bush. Your tent is designed in a classic safari style – but with a luxurious twist. There are canvas walls and soft beds, along with a private bathroom with hot water. The camp offers a total of 30 luxury tents.

Perhaps you’ll drift off a little there on the terrace. At night, you can clearly hear the sounds of the wild through the canvas walls, so you may have woken up once or twice during the night. But who wouldn’t want to wake to the roar of lions in the distance?

You might fancy a dip in the pool to freshen up before your sundowner at the bar, followed by dinner.
