La Renala
Located right on the expansive beach of Morondava, La Renala features 13 bungalows.
The bungalows are arranged in two rows, and it should be noted that you won’t have a direct view of the beach from either the first or second row. The large sand dunes block the view – but also shield you from the wind. Although you can’t directly see the vast beach, small paths lead you quickly to the shore.
Morondava is not your typical beach holiday destination, and La Renala is therefore not a resort in the traditional sense.
The bungalows are charmingly decorated in classic Madagascan style: relatively simple, yet neat and clean, with most of the furnishings made from beautiful, golden wood. Each bungalow has its own terrace with two deck chairs, tempting you to spend a day lounging and enjoying a good book. The garden surrounding the bungalows is filled with the most gorgeous, colourful flowers.
The rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi – although the air conditioning only operates at night.
The hotel has its own restaurant and pool area, and there are several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.
