Villa Nautica

Paradise Island

Imagine a secluded island with white sandy beaches, beach villas peering out from behind tropical trees and tall coconut palms swaying in the tropical breeze. The island’s faithful herons stand looking out over the quiet turquoise lagoon, with its water villas like pearls on a string. Welcome to Villa Nautica.

You disembark from the speedboat and walk along the jetty to the shore. It’s like stepping into paradise – a barefooted paradise.

The beach villa is 54 m2 and sleeps either 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. The villa is bright and spacious and furnished with traditional wooden furniture and brightly-coloured textiles. Each villa has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, Wi-Fi, a minibar, a TV, a telephone and kettle for tea and coffee as well as a dressing table/desk. There is both an indoor bathroom with a bath and an outdoor bathroom with an open air shower.  The villa has its own veranda with chairs and sun loungers and offers direct access to the white sandy beach.

The beach is made for walks by the water, sunbathing and relaxing in a hammock – perhaps with a refreshing drink from the Athiri beach bar?

If pools are more your thing, Villa Nautica has a fabulous infinity pool overlooking the glittering Indian Ocean. Laze on a sun lounger or hang out by the pool and just enjoy the view of this amazing place.

However, it is not only on land that Villa Nautica is like something from a fairy tale. Put on a snorkel, mask and flippers and explore the fairy-tale world below the surface with corals and fish in all the colours of the rainbow. You might even find Nemo or one of the harmless little reef sharks.

Villa Nautica also offers an ocean of water sports activities and arranges snorkelling, diving, fishing and sunset excursions.

And be sure to visit the Araamu Spa, which is surrounded by swaying palm trees and tropical gardens – the perfect setting for body and soul. At the Araamu Spa, you can treat yourself to a steam bath and various massages and facials before enjoying another day in the sun.

In the evening, enjoy the sunset with a drink from the Hulgangu, bar before dining at one of the resort’s many restaurants, which serve everything from Maldivian lobster to Japanese teppanyaki dishes. You also have the option of “in villa dining” if you wish to eat in your villa.
