At the old pier of Old Fisherman’s Wharf, indulge in a local classic, the ‘shrimp dog’, or satisfy your sweet tooth at one of the many tempting dessert shops. This is also the departure point for most whale-watching tours. If your visit falls between mid-May and September 1^st, you can take advantage of the city’s free shuttle service to Old Fisherman’s Wharf. Alternatively, you might continue on foot to Cannery Row, which is 2.3 km from the hotel. For a different perspective, why not hire a bicycle from the hotel and pedal along the paved waterfront cycle path?
