Discover the hidden corners of Arches’ red vaulted landscape (half-day tour)

Settle into a four-wheel drive vehicle and let your local guide lead you through Arches National Park. Together with your fellow travellers, you’ll encounter the park’s breathtaking landscape, shaped over millions of years by the forces of nature into graceful arches, lofty towers, and sculpted rock formations in stunning shades of red and gold. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to explore areas few visitors ever see and gain a fascinating insight into the park’s geology, scenery, and history.

The route begins near Doc Williams Point before heading out into the wild backcountry of Arches. The trail winds its way through an impressive terrain of sandstone fins, cliff walls, and small dunes. Along the way, you’ll discover a variety of remarkable sights. At ‘Marching Men’, tall, slender rock figures stand side by side like soldiers in a parade, while ‘Tower Arch’ opens up as a natural gateway in the landscape. You’ll also pass the ‘Eye of the Whale’, where you can gaze through the curved rock formation that frames a large eye in the cliff. Finally, you’ll follow an old cowboy trail back towards Moab, where you can spot fossilised dinosaur tracks and catch a glimpse of the fascinating life that once thrived here over a hundred million years ago.

Please note that the tour is available in the morning, at midday, and in the afternoon.

The tour includes: Guided tour in Arches National Park, iced water, and lemonade

The tour does not include: Tipping, entrance fee to the National Park (USD 15 per person unless you have a National Park Pass), meals and drinks other than those mentioned above (you are welcome to bring your own supplies), and car seat for small children.
