Experience Bryce Canyon on horseback

Get a taste of the Wild West on a guided horseback ride through Utah’s magnificent landscapes, suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. The route follows historic trails once used by the notorious bank and train robber Butch Cassidy, leader of the infamous gang “The Wild Bunch”. It’s great fun listening to stories from back then while you’re in the saddle yourself.

You can choose from the following tours:

  • 1½-hour tour: Ride through the Dixie National Forest and enjoy beautiful views over the northern part of Bryce Canyon before calmly making your way back through the forest.
  • 3-hour tour: If you opt for the extended ride, your tour will take you along the Losee Trail in the stunning Red Canyon, surrounded by dramatic rock formations – often called “Bryce Canyon’s little brother”.

All tours are led by experienced wranglers from Ruby’s Inn, who will share fascinating cowboy tales and local history along the way.
