Emeralda Resort Tam Coc is set by the Tam Coc boat pier, where the area’s signature scenery of rice fields and limestone mountains unfolds. Tam Coc centre is just outside the resort, with cafés, restaurants, bars, and small shops all within walking distance.
The resort’s buildings are two storeys high, with yellow facades, red-tiled roofs, and dark-wood details, inspired by the traditional architecture of northern Vietnam. Emeralda also features a small exhibition that offers an insight into Vietnamese culture and history, enhancing the resort’s distinctive atmosphere.
You’ll usually stay in a 36 m² Superior Room, ideal for two people. Rooms have wooden floors, dark-wood furniture, and light walls, creating a calm, understated look. There are views towards the Ngo Dong River and the resort’s surroundings, and each room has its own balcony or terrace. Amenities include air conditioning and blackout curtains, as well as a TV, Wi-Fi, a telephone, a safety box, a fridge, and a kettle for tea and coffee. Complimentary bottled mineral water is provided. The bathroom is equipped with both a shower and a bathtub, plus toiletries, a bathrobe, slippers, and a hairdryer.
After a day of discoveries, you can unwind by one of the resort’s two pool areas, make use of the fitness centre, set in a wooden pavilion with large windows, or visit the spa. La Cochinchine Spa is a peaceful retreat offering treatments that combine traditional Vietnamese techniques with classic massage methods. You can also borrow bicycles and explore the area at your own pace.
The resort’s restaurant, Com Restaurant, is a natural hub for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It serves Vietnamese dishes with a focus on local produce, alongside a selection of internationally inspired options. Breakfast includes both hot and cold choices, as well as coffee, tea, and fresh juice.
Jade Bar sits at the heart of the resort and is the perfect place to round off the day. Enjoy chilled drinks, cocktails, or a cup of coffee as evening draws in over Tam Coc.
