Sleeping car on the night train from Hanoi to Da Nang

The Damitrans night train takes you from Hanoi to Da Nang. You’ll spend the night in a shared sleeper cabin with room for four people as the train travels through the Vietnamese countryside, stopping at several stations along the way. The following morning, you’ll arrive in Da Nang.

In the sleeper cabin, you’ll find a small welcome pack containing fruit, snacks and water. However, we recommend that you buy some extra food and drinks before boarding so you have everything you need for the journey.

The cabin is equipped with a pillow and duvet, power sockets, ventilation and storage space for your luggage. We recommend that your suitcase does not exceed 41 cm x 27 cm x 63 cm. Luggage can be placed under the lower bunks to maximise the available space in the cabin. The door can be locked from the inside, so you can sleep safely.

The train journey takes between 15½ and 16½ hours. The train departs from Hanoi between 7:20 pm and 8:55 pm, arriving in Da Nang between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm the following day.
