The Island Lodge

The Island Lodge is located on the small island of Thoi Son in the Mekong Delta, just a short boat ride from the city of My Tho. Here, you’ll stay surrounded by lush palm trees and tranquil waterways, while remaining within easy reach of village life and bustling local markets.

The hotel features two types of rooms: the Garden View and River View. Both room types are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a minibar, a safety box, and a spacious bathroom with a shower and a bathtub.

The Garden View rooms are situated in cosy pavilions nestled amidst the vibrant gardens. They are bright and furnished with bamboo furniture, mosquito nets draped over the beds, and colourful cushions that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Large windows let the outdoors in, and from your private terrace, you can soak up the peace and admire the lush surroundings.

The River View rooms are found on the first floor of the main building and offer wonderful views of the Mekong River and the neighbouring plantations. The décor mirrors that of the Garden View rooms, but here, you also have a private balcony with comfortable lounge furniture, the perfect spot to unwind and watch river life drift by as boats glide past.

The hotel’s pool overlooks the river and invites you to enjoy a refreshing dip after a day of excursions. In the wellness area, you can treat yourself to the sauna, jacuzzi, fitness facilities, or indulge in a relaxing treatment at the spa.

The restaurant, Le Comptoir de Marthe et Edouard, is named after the owner’s grandparents and offers a delightful fusion of Vietnamese and French cuisine. Chef Vo Quoc Thach leads the kitchen, creating a menu where local ingredients are paired with classic French techniques. You can savour these dishes on the terrace overlooking the river as the sun sets.

The hotel also boasts several bars, each with their own unique charm: Le 10° 19′ 44″, a tropical garden bar with a laid-back vibe serving the signature cocktail “Planteur de la Patronne”, and La Manufacture d’Opium, an Indochine-inspired lounge with a nostalgic atmosphere where you can sink into leather armchairs and enjoy a glass of Ricard, Khmer rum, or an exotic cocktail.
