Evening Vespa scooter excursion in Ho Chi Minh City

As a passenger on the back of a Vespa scooter, you experience Ho Chi Minh City after sunset.

The first stop, after you are picked up at your hotel, is a small café hidden away in the heart of the city, where you are introduced to the evening’s adventure as you enjoy refreshments including a little food and a cocktail. From here, you head out into the city’s hectic streets with your experienced chauffeur on the scooter with you.

You pass through Ho Chi Minh City’s local China Town and a district of the city that rarely sees other tourists, but which is renowned for its street food, which primarily consists of fish and shellfish. On your way to District 1, Ho Chi Minh City’s downtown area and most famous district, you pass cultural highlights such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, which has a completely unique look in the glow of the street lights.

In the downtown district, you visit a local eatery famous for its speciality “banh xeo”, a unique sweet pancake-like delicacy filled with meat and vegetables. After this culinary experience, the tour goes on to an almost hidden Vietnamese coffee house. Here you can sit with the locals and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee, which consists of strong drip coffee and sweet condensed milk.

The evening concludes with drinks at one of Ho Chi Minh City’s best music venues, before you are driven back to your hotel after an eventful evening. Included in the price is all transport as a passenger on the scooter, a local tour guide, as well as food and drinks at each stop.
